5 WILDCAT HARRIERS EARN MEDALS AT HESSTON

HESSTON – The Moundridge cross country team took nine runners to the 40 school Hesston Invitational Special on Thursday and brought home five medal winners from among the various races based on high school size and student class.
In the 5K Small School - Junior Girls Division, Haylee Jantz earned the highest medal of the day with a fourth-place finish by running a season best time of 22:17.40.
Among the highlights of the boys’ races, Reid Graber finished eighth in the 5K Small School – Senior Boys Division with a run of 18:27.90, a season best.
In the Junior Boys Division, Colter Adolf scored a medal with a tenth-place finish on season best run of 19:22.50.
The other two Wildcat Medal winners came from Dan Kuder for a season best time of 18:11.50 and third place finish in the Sophomore Boys Division while Anthony Eguia ran a season best of 20:05.10 during a sixth-place finish in the Freshman Boys Division.
In total of the nine runners for Moundridge, six of the nine recorded season best times.
Next up for the Wildcat harriers will be on Thursday, September 19 at Bennington.

5K SMALL SCHOOL – FRESHMAN BOYS DIVISION = 6. Anthony Eguia – 20:05.10 (season best); 22. Josh Seeger – 22:11.30.
