Muehler, Elder Medal – Finish in top-20

LAWRENCE – Despite a two-hour weather delay, the McPherson cross country teams took on a challenging course at Rim Rock Park and finished eighth our of 46 teams for the boys and thirteenth our o 32 for the girls.
Competing in the Blue Division, both the Bullpup boys and Lady Bullpups went up against a large field of schools from both Kansas as well as surrounding states on a challenging, hilly course.
The Bullpup boys placed eighth out of 46 teams with Caleb Muehler and Ethan Elder both winning medals as they finished sixth and seventeenth out of 340 runners.
For the Lady Bullpups, the top runner was Lexi Patterson who placed 49th out of 258 runners as the team placed 13 out of 32 teams.
The Bullpup runners are scheduled to run again on Saturday at the Newton Invitational.
